About this game

THE ARCHIVIST'S PRETEXT — single-screen stealth puzzle. You are a brass-clad archivist infiltrating a canopy temple in the jungle. Retrieve the Archive from the brass Nest at the canopy crown, then return to the lift to escape. Clockwork sentries patrol horizontal walkways with red vision cones; foliage blocks both movement and sight. Spend one of three Pretext Gears to blind the sentries for three turns. Seeds: pretext (the decoy gear), nest (the macguffin), archive (the prize). Mechanic: line-of-sight stealth + turn-based planning. Form: single fixed puzzle, replayable for fewer moves.
